    I have a WinXP PRO SP2. What version should I use: NOD32 2.50.25 or 2.51.8?

2.50.25 is the latest version for XP in English language.
The version may change in differents languages, however is the same version as English. It's due to some corrections in others languages versions.

Does the 64bit version work in a XP SP2?

Yes, because it's backward compatible and contains 32-bit drivers as well.

Looks like there's no x64 portuguese version available. But there is the x32 version.

What does 64bit mean? How would you know if you needed standard or 64 bit?

If you have a 64-bit processor with a 64-bit operating system.
If you don't have this, and you install the 64-bit version of NOD32, it will still run in 32-bit mode since it's backwards compatible.
