What tool do you use to check MD5 etc file hashes?

    What tool do you use to check MD5 etc file hashes?

    It's a VB program.

    On Unix/Linux, the command synopsis is: md5sum <filename>

    Read the man page with: man md5sum

    I use WinHex to compute a file’s MD5 hash.

    Also note the availability of the free File Checksum Integrity Verifier (FCIV) utility by Microsoft.
