What to add to MSE for other protection?

    Thanks! I've used the free version a few times but wasnt aware the paid real time could run with anything.. I'll give it a go

    You can also set the scheduled scan and update in the free version.

    Free version allows scheduling?

    Regardless, the free version does not have real-time protection and that was pretty key for me. Anything that my AV might miss, MBAM seems to catch. It's a great add-on for layered protection IMO.

    I did get the paid version and it has since popped up that it has blocked or redirected something. I didnt see the pop up long enough to see what was blocked but MSE missed it or MBAM caught it first so thanks for your advice.

    You mention you don't like FPs, but you use Prevx?

    I'm trying it right now for the first time, just doing some tests, default scan didn't find anything, guess Full scan is going to be full of it. In that case it will be gone. Will get back to you on that when I find time to run Full scan.
    I found one FP so far, and huge one (only prevx found that, I reported it in prevx thread).
