What the heck Eset, you are blocking legit websites

this is getting to be a pain in the arse. Eset is blocking legit websites. Lets see try these.

a legit site that professional TV calibrators use to get the best settings for television sets.

Neither of the mentioned websites has ever been blocked by ESET. Please provide some screen shots of the alert that will shed more light.

 

I wondered why they both worked for me 10 minutes after the post began!

 

It will show the IE screen saying you dont have a internet connection. When I add both th Eset for exclusion under Web Protection, they work.

 

If no alert is shown then it has nothing to do with blocking sites. Do you have pre-release updates enabled and the Internet protection module version 1031 installed?

So I gather no warnings / alerts are displayed when attempting to open the web sites, right? Could you provide more info about the OS and platform (x86/x64)? I tested it on WinXP as well as Win7 but in either case they opened fine with v5 installed.

 

pre release also here and both work fine for me tested on winxp and win7
