Hello, I'm wondering what software you like to update on a daily basis. That means manually opening the program and clicking the update feature. Mine are: Ad Muncher CCEnhancer CCleaner Microsoft Security Essentials Norton Security Suite Spybot - Search & Destroy SpywareBlaster Windows Update WinPatrol Fix-It Utilities Professional System Mechanic Professional Regards, Nathan
Never used to check for updates from a program or using a built-in updater. I prefer to check the developer website or to visit daily SnapFiles, MajorGeeks or FileHippo.
Hello, That didn't even occur to me at the time. And vBulletin won't let me go back and edit the poll. But people who are interested can do what you did, and reply none, other, etc. Regards, Nathan
The "None" option has been added. (Normally we don't edit polls if they have been open for too long, or too many people have voted already. However, since only NRProia himself had voted by this point in time, I was able to add the extra option without corrupting the poll. Tested it by voting for None myself.)
Good to have that option added... I manually check on Sandboxie's release progress from time to time, but that's all. Cheers philby
All of my security programs are updated daily with the exception of Spyware Blaster. Nice to have the Pro versions.
Norton Internet Security 2012 (Automatic) Ad Muncher Premium (Automatic) Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Pro (Automatic)
First thing I do when I start my computers is a manual update of the AVs whether they are real time or scanner type (even though they are all scheduled to update automatically).
Security programs and CCEnhancer. Former does it automatically, nothing for me to do. Latter takes 2 clicks and a few seconds. I use CCleaner that regularly, because of my browser ramdisk.
