RAM is more than enough, my desktop has 2GB and i even do gaming (Although i can no longer max modern games as 2 years ago)

It's his crappy Intel Atom "Dual Core" processor. I just blows it feel more like it's run by hamster in a wheel :D
On the other hand my dads AMD E-350 does wonders! Even plays very very high bit rate movies. (Full HD)

    Defensewall (since Aug 2007)
    Winpatrol (since June 2005)
    Browser Sentinel (since March 2004)

Even though Browser Sentinel is not well known and expensive. What it provides is excellent visibility of everything that's running and installed on my pc. It allows me to control everything and there's nothing out there that does the amount of stuff that it does. I'd be lost without it. it's my favourite application.

Judging by the posts so far in this thread, AppGuard and Sandboxie seem to be the top choices of the year! Well deserved I must say!

I have that setup with EMET.It was very hard to do but broke away from sandboxie for a while to see if these three apps alone can keep me safe.
