What makes a good A/V

    When I send a virus sample to antivirus company and after 1 hour the virus info is added to database it's a good antivirus. When I send a virus sample and I receive an automated response and only 1 month later the virus is added to database it's NOT good.
    So many paople in the world send new samples to antivirus companies and I see that many companies ignores it.
    Despite heuristic, that I believe is very important, the update is important too and the team behind an antivirus software is an important factor.
    One more thing: real-time scan is basic...
    An Antivirus that have no real-time scan is NOT an antivirus, I think...

    For me a Good Anti-virus program... should have this features and functions:

    - fast automatic updates
    - has a Network Shield and Webshield
    - will not slow down pc and some other applications
    - very advance scanning engine
    - w lots of features not found on other brands
    - has boot-time scanning to scan the boot sector(some virus might reside in there)
    - passed many tests and certified by some reliable testing sites
    - fast customer support reply
    - compatible w other softwares installed
    - w real-time resident protection
    - of course... it should be FREE!!!

    I found it all in Avast! Home Edition antivirus. ;)
