    choose one amongst the options.
i have 2 x JBL L880 for one of my desktops (my own pc). and for the other desktop (used mainly for watching movies and gaming by my son), Creative Gigaworks Pro-gamer G500 (5.1 speaker set).
    feel free to specify brand.
you may also specify whether you use any audio software such as srs products, or internal/external sound card.

I have the Logitech Z-5500 5.1 speaker system along with my Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphone. Both run through my Auzentech X-Fi Forte 7.1 sound card. I dislike the use of SRS products and similar applications. :)

Other: Line out into an equalizer and small integrated amplifier, connected to 2 AR-4x bookshelf speakers mounted at table height. Nice clean sound. Used when working about the office.

When sitting at the computer, often I listen through my Sennheiser headphones.

Creative Inspire P7800 7.1 speakers with a Soundblaster X-fi Fata1ity ExtremeGamer Pro card.

This will probably be the last Creative product I buy because of the Vista driver fiasco.

My speakers are built into the monitor so no separate components.

My setup is seriously old school -- Luxman L-5 amp with two JBL L96s on the desk, flanking the monitors.
