I would suggest the latter setup with a flavor of the toxic sbie.

It's disappointing too, because the new version has some promise, other than the slowdowns and occasional freezing of course.

A fix needs to be issued out asap.

Both are great setups and provide great protection. That's what is making it hard to choose lol

I was referring to the Real-Time aspect of my setup. I don't plan on changing my On-Demand any time soon (Which includes Sandboxie).

The Avast setup is stronger imo. Good luck with choosing the right one. :)

    Oh I see.

I've ran the Avast, MBAM PRO and Online Armor setup before and it was extremely powerful.

I also had great experiences with the Comodo setup as well.

But to try something new again, I might do the Avast, MBAM PRO and Online Armor setup.

I may give RunSafer another chance too.

Are you talking about the password part?

Remembering the activation password and no auto updating are the only thing's I really can't stand about NVT ERP.

No need for RunSafer when you've got sbie.

Oh I know, but I was going to test it out before running Sandboxie again.

Yeah, that re-activation feature is horrible.

I remember the developer telling me that he plans on integrating a better activation system.

Oh then it's okay. Well it's nothing special. Just running an app in LUA. That's all.

I have to have AV-less setup on my office comp (Pentium D, 2.8 GHz, 448 MB RAM - I don't know why 448 - on other comps at least 512) - our corporative Kaspersky is too heavy for it. So now I have:

    Comodo Time Machine 2.8
    DefenseWall PF
Avast - installed with all shields disabled - for seldom scans only.

Unfortunately can't make 2 modules of Avast to leave the RAM - I don't need them there.

Since Comodo and Emsisoft are my two favorite companies, I decided to add a mixture of both in my new security setup. I kept everything else the same, but decided to use Comodo Antivirus & Defense Plus with Online Armor Firewall, instead of just using Comodo Internet Security. Why not have the best of both worlds?

Well you just got two world mixed up my friend. D+ is HIPS. OA has HIPS. And neither of them are anything like a compatible AV WSA which can be used with another AV.

You can go AV less without any hassles. Just use DefenseWall PF, HitmanPro, an imaging software, Norton ConnectSafe, No Autoruns/ Panda Vaccine and KeePass. That's all you need. My old desktop has 258 RAM. So no prob.

when people say AV- less and then write hitman pro or free whatever it is they should say realtime _ av less bacause theyr ot just av but three engines av
just for the sake of the statement. Using DW and Hitman pro is more than eough .

When we say AV we assume it is a realtime, primary AV. HMP is on-demand cloud second opinion AV. It is what we are used to call. Not the technical and literal term we use. So no need to get all over this. Just chill bro.
