Thinking of pulling out my old testing desktop (that I have not booted in a year) and giving Rising PC Doctor v7 a spin. I always kinda lived v6 for giving a general overview of my system and this may be what I need to pair with Panda Cloud.

    New setup in sig

    Simple, Light and Secure :thumb:

    Quite happy with this one

Although CIS Premium was performing well, it was ridiculous on how much disk I/O it had. Avast seems to manage disk I/O better.

I am pretty sure it's just because of Comodo AV :D

I agree I would have just disabled Comodo AV. Oh well your decision...

I might just add the firewall component of Comodo, along side Avast.

I agree with adult and kelvin. Avast with Comodo FW is one of my favorite setups. This is very solid. :thumb:

I had tried using mamutu with cmd fw/d+. They did not like each other. Also the two have some degree of overlapping especially as cmd fw/d+ has cloud scanning behavioral analysis.

How is Macrium Reflect going my friend? I would use it but my vss is broken and cannot make hot images. Building WinPe is too much of a hassle.

Just running Comodo Firewall, EMET and UAC on Max in Real-Time. I am going antivirus free for the first time. The system is so nice and light...love it. I will add EXE Radar Pro later on, to use as a safety net in case Comodo misses something.

I do not think you would need ERP with the powerful cmd d+.

So you use Macrium Reflect to backup drives/partitions and Cobian Backup to backup important individual personal files. I think you're all covered my friend. No malware can hurt your pc now. :D

This is what I said on this thread, Page 953, Post #23817

I understand that Comodo HIPS plays the role of the Anti-Executable. The reason why I do want to use it, is to have a secondary option in case Comodo does miss something. I like the idea of NoVirusThanks, because it prompts you for every single file process, as Comodo does not. I do know that I can go Paranoid mode in Comodo, but I feel it would be way more aggressive than EXE Radar Pro. EXE Radar Pro is in between agressive, but letting thing's through if needed. Plus I wouldn't mind using EXE Radar Pro to password protect such thing's as: Regedit, Cmd, Taskmgr, Etc

Thanks :thumb:, But anything is still possible (That is if I make a mistake). I am very careful though.

I am really digging a light setup. You still running light?
