I had to ditch Defensewall it takes to long for my browsers to open.Dragon is not to bad but IE9 is crazy slow in untrusted. The only solution I had found was changing the browser status to trusted and then its normal again.

Good setup now. HitmanPro scanner would a nice addition though. You are sure using an imaging software, right? Which one?

Yes that would be for on-demand scanner.

But how you guys protect your services from being corrupted/infected by a malware ?
About a year ago my laptop's network suddenly stopped working and couldn't connect to internet. Turns out internet services like RPC and ICS was somehow disabled and I couldn't turn start them no matter how I tried. In that time I only had Nod32 and SuperAntiSpyware installed.
I did a lot of research and tried lots of fix but couldn't repair the services. So I had to use my backup and restore it.

Never underestimate the power of an on-demand scanner especially HitmanPro. It will remove malware which may slip easily past your protection which other security products like mainstream AV may find difficult to remove. HitmanPro as an on-demand scanner is an excellent second opinion. I highly recommend it.

Well nowadays a most security apps provide all round security including protection for services. Whether you use only Av or suites, you will be protected. Bitdefender, Norton, Kaspersky, etc. have av, hips, sandbox style virtualization, etc. You just need to choose any one. And carefully set layers of complementary and compatible security apps to fulfill a layered security approach. No one product can protect you 100%.

You just might wanna put OA to the machine with the setup in your sig. It's very strong.

How is Eset beta testing going by the way?

I put the free version on mine now,It feels good man and secure.thanks for the advice.

ESET AV BETA 6 is running very well.I have not spent much time on that system, but need to for any bug findings. My kids told me it has been blocking things and sure enough there has been some malware in the quarantine.

I double checked it with Hitman Pro and comes back clean so far.

OA is one of my favorite apps. I feel so secured with it. Say D, have you ever tried the banking mode of your OA premium?

Oh I see. Well good luck beta testing. :)

Why don't you beta test Bitdefender Product range 2013? I've read they are faster than previous versions.
