Around Windows 95, I started using ZA...When it was good. I never used BlackIce firewall then.

Oh man, yep...I remember using AOL at one point. I always thought it was cool that it said "You Got Mail".

I look at that now and think, Why?

HaHaHa, Me too. Remember BBS's and how popular they were? That was when I was apart of one called The Garbage Dump BBS.

Ooops, I think we kind of got off topic though.

HaHaHa, it's funny that you mention that. I use to lock out windows at the dos prompt all the time.

So far so good. I'll let you know how well it works when I get a chance to test it.

& I like how every process is heuristically scanned and then prompted before loaded into memory.:thumb:

Removed Exe Radar (Free). While the app has some pretty cool features, it was, imho, an unnecessary addition to the security apps running in real-time per my signature below.

That said, no conflicts or other issues were noted during the several days it was installed and I think the app quite useful when incorporated into the proper setup and configuration.

Il bet you might find yourself using it again later :D
Did you test it with LUA? does it need admin rights when it starts in windows log-on?

Great going D. I have never been a fan of Dragon browser and don't see being one any soon. But Comodo fw/d+ has always been my favorite.

Awesome tutorial by the way. I wish I could get a tutorial for OA like the one by Chiron. :'(

Good going. ERF is indeed abundant and unnecessary with your current setup.

I'm on XP Pro SP3...and run as admin.

I might find a use for it again in the future but there's a point at which I try to limit overlap and redundancy.

I didn't see any real current benefit to having it installed (aside from liking some of its features) and thought it overkill to have it chiming in alongside alerts from Comodo Firewall (Proactive Security, D+, Sandbox) and EAM which features a behavior blocker (Mamutu).

Aside from that, I have Sandboxie setup to be quite stingy on what processes are allowed to start and/or connect out.

Truth is, if I wanted to be truly minimalist I could probably pare down even further...but I like my current setup and it runs very smoothly on this machine.

Comodo with defense + does not pass its own comodo leak test.I got 160 score, can anyone confirm this.

Appguard scores 240 by itself whats up with comodo then.

I haven't invested much time with this...but from what I've read on the web and the Comodo site itself, the test hasn't been updated and was not intended to be tested with the sandbox and some other settings available in current versions.

It seems counterintuitive to me to have to disable various features of protection in order to score well on a test, therefore I disregard it.

I've used it on Zemana's and Shields Up's leak and logger tests with good results.
(I no longer have the SpyShelter tests on hand.)

I know that Matousec's tests get a wide range of opinions here but I think they represent at least another data point worthy of consideration.

My less than two cents on the matter.

My bill wil be in tomorrow's mail. ;)

I'm glad that worked out for you. Do you mind sharing your settings?

(If you are using Chiron's recommended settings then no need to elaborate as I used them myself to get set up. However feel free to share or PM me with other useful settings if they are being utilized.)
