Thanks ams963, that's what I'm thinking too. I'm still trying different ways to reinforce Sandboxie, and Online Armor is one at the top of the list.

Yeah and you can use RunSafer of OA to run apps in LUA when not using the strong and tough sbie. ;)

Although there are better antivirus, F-Prot is a cheap option, not slow operating system and works well. AppGuard or Anti-Executable is a good complement for F-Prot.

I've been using it for many years.

Thanks.Sure there maybe better but for basic virus protection that covers up to 5 pcs for the price of one is a great deal.Although I believe the gui has not been updated since 2010 they update where it counts. Some times the underdogs come out the winners.

You're not running Sandboxie for real-time?

How many processes run in the background, and is it pretty light on ram usage?

The only thing forced by sbie is my usb flash drive and I'm not really using that drive nowadays. I use Firefox under sbie manually, no need for forcing. So sbie is not in realtime.

Then you must feed your system more to make it healthier, it's premature for heaven's sake. LOL

Ah I used to do that but I had to make exception for bookmarks and other stuff in sbie sandbox settings to make my browser experience convenient and run my browser outside sandbox once in a while to update the browser program. I found those pretty much a hassle so reverted back to manually sandboxing my browser.

Yeah that's less of a hassle. I had also created a separate sandbox for adobe pdf reader but for some reason could not run the reader inside that sandbox. I gave up and removed that sandbox. No harm done though as Adobe pdf reader already has a built-in sandbox which according to many members here like Hungry man has yet to be broken.
