meant mine cause it hasn't changed for quiet a while :p

only thing is I don't really have anything for on-demand. Just checking sometimes with Hijackthis. If I'm uncertain about a file I upload it to VirusTotal although I just download things from trusted sources. Also my TotalCommander can show hashes of files if I want to. I don't use on-demand scanners just hijackthis currently :doubt:

I think I prefer different approaches of security. Without a doubt HitmanPro is a good product but it only offers scanning in the free version and if you want to remove malware you have purchase it or activate your 30 day trial. I think that's what I read on their website. For me that sounds like having the cake but not being allowed to eat it. I also looked for some online on-demand scanners but it seems all of those require Internet Explorer. I uninstalled IE for good reason and use Opera currently. Is there any online scanner that's compatible with Opera?

Removed MD and added Nod32 AV.

    ... for two hours ...

I feel naked without MD and no blacklist type software can make me feel better :)

I don't use opera. But I'll list the scanners and removal tools I use if it helps:

    Dr. Web CureIt
    AVZ antiviral toolkit
    Emsisoft emergency kit
    Superantispyware
    Tdssiller
    F-secure easyclean
    Bytehero
    Norton power eraser
    Remotedll

No they dont. What Arcanez said. The only downside to sandboxie in general is a small delay for browser to open for me with IE9,but after that web surfing or web page rendering is fast.

Given WSA's latest changelog I've decided to remove avast! Free and MBAM PRO to give it another shot. The "Fixed an issue where Chrome and WSA could slow down the entire system if used together for a very extended time" entry in particular caught my attention.
