After a couple months with WSA Antivirus I felt a change coming on. Back to an old friend, Avira Premium. My first run with the 2012 version and it's running pretty nice so far...:thumb:

    not even windows own skydrive?...........

the add-on for ff/chrome/safari is light and no prob with it........although you'll get half of Antivirus web filter and not get Social network links scanner......

lastpass free is not needed with wsa complete as the password manager that comes with wsa complete is already based on lastpass.......

    great :thumb:

hmm........if you got a good vpn, I'm not sure if you need a secure dns...maybe some of the more experienced members here can help.....

you only need to use those when your pc is infected.......keeping sas is not a bad idea since it's portable and only needed as a cleaning tool........

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic443562.html

this is not good , i dont think ill download tdsskiller , guess kaspersky really knows how to KILL peoples pcs xD

new list as of today then :

    wsa complete <always running
    mbam pro <always running
    sandboxie<unknown programs and browser etc
    secunia psi<always running
    hitman pro<in my os toolbox
    zemana al>always running
norton dns>as default in router and os
    revouninstaller pro<when needed ;)
    ccleaner>os toolkit
    Emsisoft emergency kit <usb stick
    F-secure easyclean < usb stick
Norton power eraser< usb stick as i understand in that manner they should be used as a sort of toolkit right?
    Remotedll >os toolkit
    processexplorer<os toolkit
    atih2012+plus<os toolkit
    Applocker
    TC +FDE
SAS<usb stick yes at the very bottom of the list on purpose ;)
winpe on usb<usb stick duh xD
ff+abp(fanboy's ultimate list, the other one malwares domain dont have an autoadd list function its some manual mumbo jumbo )https everywhere, WOT, bitdefender quickscan < not yet ,using waterfox thus not compatible, betterprivacy, bitdefender trafficlight

and bytehero whatever it is is blocked by norton dns due to malicious content ;)

p.s: i really dont like using windows firewall its too complex for an average non super hacker type of user thus the commodo firewall ;), trust me ive tried and then?...no internet access lols xD, so any other suggestion?

lets keep that feedback coming ey? peace

and what about EMET 2.1? should i remove it? set it up as per this link

    http://rationallyparanoid.com/articles/microsoft-emet-2.html

and would i still need to get winpatrol ?

go here and at the bottom of the page look for malware domains.....now click on 'Malware Domains' beside 'Subscribe:'............

    here you go.....;)

then go for privatefirewall......it fits nicely with wsa and is powerful..........here you go.....;)

you're better off without it.......but we all love scotty ......so we got it......

Back to Webroot SecureAnywhere after a 24 hour run with Avira. No complaints about Avira in general but once you get used to the cloud with Webroot or Panda the lightness and security becomes addicting...
