Trying something different...first time without OA++ in years.

    Sandboxie
    Appguard
    UAC on high
    Windows 7 Firewall

    Hitman Pro
    ShadowProtect

My laptop runs VERY fast with this setup.

Actually i had it installed for around 48 hours only ~ (I just recently posted it today)
I already uninstalled it, even without looking at figures or stats the PC general experience was kinda bad, browser launch was a lot slower, boot up was affected a bit, website rendering was a LOT slower and browser tabs were a LOT slower also, while opening documents in Excel it froze too.
So in my experience it was kinda sluggish.

PS. Guys :D Remember that was my experience, yours doesn't have to be the same so please don't jump into conclusions ;)
One important thing is that i maxed the settings (Although there's not much to max, the only thing i think that could impact performance is "Scan all extensions" option)

Kaspersky PURE . . . MAXED OUT is lighter than Avast! (I used it last week also and maxed out) and lighter than Panda IS 2012.
Based on computer usage experience and not by numbers (I/O, Ram, CPU etc.) :D

    I suggest forcing Java/ Flash/ Reader.

    It can be very effective.

Not that I would suggest doing this... but I have every .exe on my system running with EMET (except for Chrome.exe.) I haven't had issues.

I'm on Windows 8 64bit and Idont have a ton installed =p I mostly tried it out of curiosity and I haven't gotten around to removing them.

Chrome has no vulnerabilities in the wild and it already makes use of many of the mitigation techniques in EMET.

I don't consider Chrome an attack vector in terms of exploits therefor I have no need to needlessly mess with its security.
