MD is chatty at first, but if you take the time learning your daily apps.another words the same app may prompt for allow or deny several times for each program, but Once you have all your programs quiet not being prompt from MD, then if you like you can switch it to silent mode. What this will do instead of a allow or deny prompt, instead you will get a default deny block. No user intervention,No user accidents.

Give Joli cloud a try. Its really light, based on ubuntu and has a great interface. Also you can actually import your windows files via Joli cloud. It also has a tons of apps you can download. Give it a try. I was hooked on it for a while.
There are a ton of other linus distros you can try that are just as good if not better than Ubuntu. Opensuse, fedora and linux mint.

I pulled the trigger for Ubuntu since it has a large community and lots of support. I managed to install Ubuntu properly i just couldn't get grub to install properly. Even after starting a thread over there, they recommended me a few steps which screwed up my Windows Boot and it just won{t recognize neither of the 2 install (Windows or Ubuntu) i had to reformat the Ubuntu partition with Windows again so it installed the Windows bootmgr again . . . phew!!

@atomomega Immunet I'm sure does really well, but I've decided to change and try out Panda Cloud :cautious:

As for PrivateFirewall, I personally think it is one of the lightest out there!
It does it's job well :thumb: :thumb:

As I am a bit bored of CIS, I have changed my setup a bit, looking mainly for a light set-and-forget setup :)

    Real-Time:
    Sandboxie
    AVG Free
    Kingston PC Doctor

    On-Demand:
    MBAM (Daily scan)
    Hitman Pro

    Misc:
    Norton DNS
    Secunia PSI
    Windows FW
    Macrium Reflect Free

Edit: Forgot to add the FW :p
