Removed Avira IS 12 from my desktop PC and added NOD32 AV.

Reason- Avira was to slow, especially I/O reads-writes.

I'm thinking of changing EAM on my laptop. It is toooo strong (i.e. not interesting;) )

I had a couple of issues:
    • Can't upload on certain sites such as Facebook, Flickr, Imgur
    • gcswf32.dll error keeps on showing up on websites with Flash
    • Prevented <googleupdate.exe> from launching from folder <c:\users\francis\appdata\local\google\googleupdate.exe>

yeah the last 2 I'm getting as well. I'm also getting an error that says something about cache unable to read from something.
Are you still running it or did you throw in the towel?

Why were you able to upload? Are there any workarounds for the issues I have mentioned? I haven't encountered that cache issue.

A couple ideas to think about for added protection.

1.Sandboxie. free or paid versions. www.sandboxie.com or

2.Defensewall Hips most quiet no free version.www.softsphere.com

3.Add malwarebytes free or paid version. www.malwarebytes.org

Thanks jmonge, but malware defender was too talkative after 3 days of using it in training... :thumbd:

@Djohn, I used Sandboxie, but it slow my browsing and I had to wait 5 seconds
Since I don't make money (Im young) I don't use money (yet) on security software.
Oh yea I use malwarebytes Free! :thumb:
