Aren't you placing too much faith in UAC? After all some malware doesn't need admin. privileges to run... I believe SRP would be a great and “zero calories” addiction to your setup:thumb:

There we go thank you. :D Though I still wonder what type of tasks he perform on the first 32GB system, and since he picked Nvidia Quadro cards it sounds like workstations.

Hehe he should have put 32Gb in both, the second just got 4GB :p

Edit: Hmmm I just saw the M on the Graph cards wich must mean that they both are notebooks :)

Put Avira AntiVir Premium back on. I was living just fine without a real-time AV, but I felt like it was just bad timing to change my philosophy considering it's my favorite AV ever, the first I've paid for in 7 years, and I still have 10 months left. I didn't want to waste it. This will probably be the last time I use a real-time AV, so I'm going to cherish the time we have left.

Disabled the cloud scanning in Comodo.

    ... and you haven't BSOD'd?

Me? Nope no issues at all. I don't use much for programs besides security tools and LibreOffice and Steam. My main system is used for work only and needs to be as secure as possible for sensitive data. I use this system for testing. Basically I put as much security as possible into it and reinstall once it's FUBAR. So far this is as much as I have done (Posted back a few pages). One downside is Virtual box refuses to run with ASLR on.

Dummy OS has no security software only MalwareBytes On-Demand and my common sense.

Secure OS has my usual set up, Online Armor Premium + EAM v6 and the usual Windows tools such as EMET, SRP. :thumb:

Yeah, I know a lot of software won't work with ASALR forced... including drivers for ATI. Instant BSOD on my computer.

Removed Microsoft Security Essentials, added Open DNS, WOT, and MBAM free. The eternal doubt whether to use a real-time AV or not, lol:D

Hmm.. Glad I haven't ran into any issues (besides VBox). Maybe developers need to step on it an add ASLR Support. MS should bake it into windows 8 so everyone has to do it.

The main thing is as long as it isn't conflicting in a way the causes my to be subject to attack. If it opened a hole in my system it would be gone ASAP.

Removed Vipre Premium and now running the new Kaspersky Internet Security 2012. So far I really like it.

    Also running Malwarebytes and superantispyware.

ASLR is built into Windows 7 as it is. It's OptIn though I believe.

ASLR is in fact further built into Windows 8, more system components use it by default.
