Thank you for the AppGuard license. Don;t worry about the others, they are internet bullies and have nothing better to do than put others down, pick on others and make fun of others. They do it because deep down they have low self-esteem issues and try to make themselves feel better by putting others down! :thumbd:

Thanks again jmonge... programmer or no programmer, you are one of the nicest people on this forum. :D

Tried out Forticlient Standard (webfilter and disabled real-time AV), but was disappointed with the amount of background processes, extra context menu (submit for analysis), apparent disappearance from the website (uncertain future), poor web filtering, and questionable detection rate.

Removed Avast Web Shield, because it was unnecessary, and always caused a minor connection lag.

Do you mean the beta 12? Because it's still in beta stage and could contain large number of bugs. If you've tried the stable 10.2 version, I would like to know the reason for not recommending Avira...:D

Hi! I added HTTPS-Everywhere & HTTPS-Finder to my Firefox, after that my VTZilla doesn't seem to work anymore lol. Anybody had the same issue?

EDIT: Got it! Https version of Virustotal won't work with VTZilla addon. Had to whitelist it and use Http instead.

    Trying out returnil on VM.
Not sure why. I keep thinking I'm missing something when I'm testing it.

I use Shadow Defender every other day for short periods of time, ever since I discovered Sandboxie it seems to me overkill to browse in shadow mode all the time. I also have a license for DeepFreeze, and two for Faronics AE which has turned out a very bad investment especially with my Vista Ultimate it was a catastrophe (I tested it for them several times through the years, and it got worse with every new version, to the point that I had to restore an image several times).

I also think that most people using virtualization/ISR don't often bother to post
in this thread, possibly because they don't change that much.

I don't know about the beta, Avira Premium works very well on my Vista, but the free version on my netbook (XP Pro) was not exactly light (I should actually add that after trying Vipre, Avast, and Avira, Vipre was way lighter than the others).

I would have to agree with Osaban when comparing avast and VIPRE.
I ran avast for 3+ years, and upon changing to VIPRE, the difference was obvious to me... VIPRE is lighter.
