    PowerShadow

    Sumatra PDF
    GOM Player

    Backup:

    RegShot
    Autoruns
    Process Monitor

    Hardening:
    Windows Trust 1.35

I was really sick of user interaction. I used to "play" with SSM Pro, EQsecure and Comodo FW 3.0. But I think that it's a waste of time and so a waste of money ;). My current setup is really light on ressources and uses a minimum of user interaction (Nod32 to list what I can trust and what I can't trust) and PowerShadow for my daily windows usage.

I'm still using Online Armor AV+ (latest beta) and ProSecurity (latest beta). As backup, I am using SandboxIE (latest beta). Basically the same setup since a while back which hasn't change other than updating to the latest beta.

    What is your solution...........

it's easy to say : nothing works well to prevent you from being infected, but what is your own protection system ?

    Hi,

Well mine has changed. Had bought a Bitdefender 2 user licence but after many failures where the AV and firewall switched off by themselfs and I have dumped that.

I now use on my desktop:
Vista home premium with windows firewall enabled
Dr Web 2 year licence AV and antispam
    Threatfire
    Windows defender
    Sandiebox

    Wife's laptop
    Vista home premium
    KIS security suite

    Cheers

    Jlo
