Not necessarily abandoning it but possibly putting it away for a spell. I have a good 16 months left on my license with the super nifty 35% off deal they had last fall. I renewed for 2 yrs then. This Panda RC is running smooth as an Armadillos shell though, a big improvement over the previous 2 versions...

    P.S....remember I said "possibly"... ;)

    Disabled MBAM realtime.
Added Panda cloud pro 1.5 RC.
Working well so far. I like that I can run it aside CIS AV.

you did, Panda Cloud is a full blown AV and in reality, a hell of alot better then that other product you are using. Let your computer breathe and dump that other nameless shameless product and keep Panda.;)

How does it run not connected to the internet? I try to stay away from AV's that are "cloud" based without sigs.

I understand but I am going to be honest. I have never understood this arguement about being connected to the internet. My computers, all of them, if on, are connected to the internet. If they arent, then something is broke and I am working on them and not using them.

This all got started when the first product that was cloud based came out. Other vendors stated that you are not protected if you are not connected, as their way of trying to say the technology was worthless. My view is, theirs are to, if they cant connect and update.

Most of us have MBAM as a backup scanner. I would take MBAM with week old sigs and say you are better protected in a scan, then most updated AV products out there right now.

So the arguement about not connected, not protected, to me, is horseshine. Created to discount a new technology that works. Of course they all want the "Cloud" name in their product now, dont they.
