My security setup is still the same, but I had to ditch "Script Defender", because its uninstaller doesn't work properly, it screwed my system partition and that is unacceptable.
I allow an incomplete uninstall, which is a general disease, but not a damaging uninstall. My patience has also limits.

Please be more specif Erik on what exactly you discovered. I agree the uninstalled is for crap and useless in restoring associations, but i discovered an even more disturbing problem lately since i still am using it in a couple of snapshots. Even after "execute this script" on .vbs files, it somehow renders them completely unresponsive anyway. That IS a problem, but Doug Knox's repair associations with vbs files corrected it 100% just as before.

Funny thing, the .reg files and .bat file "execute" when ScriptDefender's prompt alerts, but the vbs files are silent. Definitely a serious bug, and also with the uninstaller no less.

Still, i'm keeping it on a couple of snapshots and checking each association it's supposed to guard whether they launch or not after allowing them, plus i have to check ALL other associations like .com and such after removing to make sure theres some of them redeemable.

Shame really, since this is a script interceptor thst all users really could benefit from if only it was improved on and corrected.
