@AlexC: SUMo detects far more updates than FileHippo Update Checker.

OA++ is a good choice. It runs very light, has minimal pop-ups and has served me well for 2+ years. :thumb:

Sorry for the late reply. :)

I checked the different config options on Apples website.
And IMO you get more Mac for the money if you buy the low-end 13" pro.

You get a much faster processor in the i5
You get 4GB ram instead of 2GB.
And 320GB HDD, even if it's only 5400RPM it's better since you are going to run more than one OS.
Inbuilt SuperDrive. ThunderBolt, plus the Backlit keyboard.

So in the end, it's quite a big differens between the Air and the Pro.
But it's your choice my friend ;).

So hard to choose :p I hope I get my bonus check this week if so Pro it is :D

    Changes:

After the recent PSN breach (and the countless other breaches as of late) I have increased security and changed all passwords.

    Security -
    --- WIFI: WPA2 Enterprise CCMP(AES) + 60 Char ASCII Password W/Radius server + SPI Firewall
--- Firewalls: DD-WRT SPI firewall + Alpha Shield + Untangle box + UFW on main system. Untangle configured to scan incoming traffic and block Java + ActiveX. Stealth all ports and MVPHOSTS add to Untangle block list (Updates every 12 hours).
--- AV: ESET Linux and Avast Home Linux
--- Browser: Chromium v. 13.0.750.0 (Developer) W/ NotScript, ABP, Ghostery. + Safe plugins. ABP Has easylist, fanboy list, and malware list.
--- Thundbird + Enigmail: GPG Sign all out going mail.
--- Apparmour covering chromium and other apps

MacBook Tomorrow :D and than above setup meets DBAN ;)

 How do you remember this? How long does it take you to type it?

Remembering is the hard part so I store it in an encrypted keypass(x) database on my encrypted 1TB HDD with the rest of mine in case I forget it. Generally I make passwords based on this:
3-4 smaller passwords used for other things (eg. email) These are used as part of most passwords
Change the order randomly for the new login
Add a new small (4-8 char) password somewhere randomly
store in database and use that until I memorize the password (Somethings like websites I just don't bother memorizing; no need).

Passwords are all about 14-63 Chars depending on what they are protecting. Also for secret question I general Pick a question answer it in "leet" text (or other such thing) and than hash it and use the hash as the answer ;) All I have to do to get it back is put the text back in and output the hash again :D

As for typing I would say about 30 seconds ;)

Ha! I wish I had that luck! ;) Well I hope I can get the Pro it does look much better and I am wanting to play some Portal 2 on that.

I am really impatient though as my iPad 2 got restored (Someone entered the password wrong to many times) and now I can't use it until I get my MacBook. Come on apple where is the linux love?

    Pffft it's called skills :p
Oh, well if you are considering doing some gaming via Steam it seems.
(Thank god for the Mac OS X version of Steam :thumb: )
Then you really got no choice but going Pro.
Since gaming on the Air isn't really the best idea.
The amount of RAM are too low, and the graphics isn't really the best for gaming.

Too bad the result was dictated, it would be interesting to see what people voted.
