EAM + OA is a very good combo
Dumped Sandboxie + DropMyRights. Facebook makes Firefox unresponsive whenever it's on the sandbox. Currently, Shadow Defender.
Yeah specially when they give u 50% discount
And again I must announce that the customer srvice is very nice and helpful
appguard is rock solid
CIS V5.3 + MAMUTU and SRP (Too much HIPS?)
trying norton dns, i like it so far, browsing seems a bit quicker with it than OpenDNS
Restarting to a clean state PC and will get a new setup
Thompson Router firewall enabled
norton internet security
System (Windows 7 Pro 64-bit) Tweaks:
Policy Management (UAC) on default
Optional drive by protection in user space
WOT - Safe Browsing Tool
KC Softwares SUMo
Acronis true image home
same setup. I just changed my browser from SRWare Iron to Mozilla Firefox.
Haha Noob wonder what it will be this time
Hahahaha, had some difficulties restoring PC and decided to give Windows 7 "Backup" a try.
It's CRAP IMO, it's not a real image backup, more like just a double copy of your files, so essentially you CAN'T restore your Windows, only files, practically useless for me.
I prefer using an external media and make copies instead of using that thing
Erm noob you can make an image of your hard drive in windows 7 backup. Don't think you noticed that option, its called Create a System Image. Windows 7 Backup is very capable of restoring your windows. But in my experience its very slow in restoring. Took me over and hour to restore several times, while it takes 10-15 minutes using Macrium Reflect.
Dumped avast, now running Norton Internet Security 2011.
Oh really? then it was all my fault? LOL
I used Windows 7 Backup Image and i selected the whole C:/, but if i'm not mistaken i couldn't see how to create a booting media to be able to recover the image.
BTW, current setup is none, only some minor tweaks: EMET - DEP - SEHOP - UAC -SRP
No programs currently but i will probably add CIS v5.3 and Hitman Pro as On Demand scanner
you can use the windows 7 cd to restore the image if u have it
or search Create System Repair Disk in the windows menu ^^
I prefer it over other 3rd party imaging software at this moment.
Damn, i screwed all my perfect setup then
Hahahaha, i'll give it a second chance the next time i redo my PC (Which will probably be in like a month )
LOL Noob. I give you a pass my friend
Do you guys recommend having HitmanPro only as On Demand? (Without a license, just to make sure PC is clean).
I don't really like having an app that won't clean
I have HitmanPro Free as on-demand, just to scan once a while to see if anything is missed by avast!
I'm not a HMP free fan myself, but nothing else beat the scan speed. so I kept it
You can see my setup in my signature. MBAM and HMP only as scanners on demand.
Then forget HMP and use MBAM. MBAM is just as good, if not better and is free for cleaning.
The New AIS 6 Beta
Uninstalled OA and installed CIS firewall.
I am using on my Windows 7
COMODO Internet Security 5.3
Hitman Pro 3.5
AdBlock and WOT
Separate names with a comma.
