Windows 7 64 bit (mostly using internal design of OS to mitigate security concerns)

Different standard accounts for surfing the net vs. business
    UAC on full
    DEP on certain programs
    Windows firewall
    Windows Defender only
Microsoft Family Safety program (treating internet like shark infested waters. I use FS as a shark cage (white listing safe websites).

    Router with firewall
    Firefox with addons
Web mail vs installed mail program

Had to remove EMET due to conflicts with indexing service prematurely shutting down as well as windows explorer shutting down. Since removal no problem has occurred.

At the moment on my Win7 32bit 'daily use' desktop, settled with:

CIS 5.3 (proactive & custom rules)
    Prevx SOL
    EMET
    Norton DNS (within router)
    CTM 2.8

On demand scans with HitmanPro & MBAM

Macrium Reflect Pro for weekly 'full disk' images.

I would think it would even though I have only ever used the free version. DefenseWall does.

Back to what works most smoothly. I had unusual hangs and delays with NAV 2011 Autoprotect analysing downloaded malware samples - sometimes over 15 minutes 30-60% CPU usage until notification of a found and removed threat is displayed.

    uninstalled:
    - Rollback RX
    - Sandboxie Pro

    re-installed:
    - Shadow Defender

RX & Sandboxie are both great apps and i might go back to them in the future.
i found i wasn't using RX as much as i thought i would.

    which left Sandboxie.
i find SD easier to use than SB and if i'm gonna be sandboxing, i figure i might as well sandbox the whole computer, via SD. ;)
