    Avira daily nag screen is gone.

    I heard that they disabled the nag screen.

    No good unless they improve the update mechanism for the free version.

    More effective when coupled with a boot-time scan. Amazing feature.

    i know i remember i cleaned a friends pc that has a nasty hidden rootkit and avast was the only one that clean the system up;) :thumb:

    yea Avast is very good but howz their sandbox and behavior module working now?

    BB in 5.1 now works (scans and monitors).
    Sandbox is dedicated for banking. Very simply.

    Nag screen supposedly disappeared sometime in October except for occasional pop up about a special offer. I'm told that updates are faster to download but still once a day.

    Back to using avast! Free (5.1). Panda is nice, but I prefer the look and features of avast! Looking forward to version 6.

    use Prevx in my vista32 laptop;)

    using SpyShelter Premium in my Xp32 ;)

    So you are using one of the best firewalls out there in the Comodo suite, but you still have Windows firewall enabled? o_O
