Yeah I think your right, maybe I should add KAV, NOD, McAfee, Norton, Trend Micro, OneCare, and ZoneAlarm just to be on the safe side ;)

The only programs I have running in real time are AOL AVS, BOClean, Comodo Firewall, spywareblaster and Spysweeper. Everything else is a backup scan. Haven't had and infection in over a year so...........:p

    Haven't had an infection ever.

Netgear DG834, Firefox. No real time protection.
I think it is better to use computers to run programs not to run security.

You dont need to remove anything if the programs run fine together. Also, you wouldnt need to add anything unless you felt unsecure.

    Rollback Intrusion Prevention (R.I.P.) :
R.I.P. is not an official security abbreviation, it means officially "Rest In Peace".

Clean off-line snapshot = work and refuge snapshot.
    No security, just software.

Dirty on-line snapshot = work and test snapshot.
    1. Look'n'Stop = firewall of straw + router of metal.
    2. Anti-Executable = stops 80+ unauthorized executables (never got a list).
    3. DefenseWall HIPS = limits untrusted applications, like Firefox.
    4. Script Defender = stops certain script extensions (I don't like it)
    5. ... suggestions are welcome, except blacklist softwares.
They try to keep my on-line snapshot malware-free during two reboots.

Clean on-line snapshot = freeze storage.
After each reboot : dirty on-line snapshot = clean on-line snapshot.
    This is the real malware-killer.

last time i encounter problem when my computer slowdown and i need to re start because of no-ending URL pop-ups. thats the time i did not feel secure.

only my PC Cillin IS 2007 is working during that time...thats why i installed SAS Pro and now I add Spyware blaster.

    Hello muf,

Glad to see that you are giving DefenseWall a second chance. I highly recommend that you try v2.0 RC1 as it offers much improved protection and is more configurable than v1.74.

Thanks CES, Installed and running nice and smooth. I'll have to take a look at the option's. Seems you were right about the configuration capability. The only thing i found a bit weird was that i tried the update feature and it said something about having to register. So is this feature only available once you've paid for it or is it because my trial period is seen as over? If it's because the trial period is over then why hasn't DW disabled itself.

    Hello muf,

Unfortunately, I have no idea what is going on with your "check for updates" problem. I suggest that you either contact Ilya directly at support@softsphere.com or start a new topic regarding your issue at the following forum:

    http://gladiator-antivirus.com/forum/index.php?showforum=193

In either case, I am confident that Ilya will find a solution to your problem in a timely manner.
