    Can't help it I happen to like them both. :D Only other AV I liked when I tried it was Vipre. Only other firewall I liked was Online Armor.

    i used za pro for a while it was good too but felt the drag....I have heard good things about lns firewall but never tried it...and windows firewall with settings mmm is all i need and for pop up yes no series spyshelter is there to entertain me:D

    I tried LNS Firewall a while ago probably some years I don't know how it is now but I heard good things about it as well. I always have EAM's behavior blocker to show me some love. Don't forget scotty as well :D

    Running great this setup .. prevx evaluating files thingy takes time while opening new applications other wise pc running super fast ..kudos avast

    Hi Gery, interested in that as it's a set-up I've tried to run many times as I have a good feeling about it. Trouble is I can't get them to play well together. Start-up issues inparticular. I kinda assumed it was an updated (therefore new to OA) Avast module loaded at reboot after an update conflicting with OA HIPS. Hard reboot & uninstall of either product always required.

    I've tried excluding the components in both apps but.....

    Are you doing anything special to make them play nice? I wondered about selecting 'start avast services after other system services' but a bit reluctant to do that.
