    trying out PC Tools Firewall v7 RC, so far so good. and got rid of Comodo Firewall (feels good to be rid of it :D)

    lol. don't worry I love my PC. I won't punch her :D

    I'm thinking of disabling Privatefirewall's HIPS and only use Malware Defender Network filtering module in silent mode after an hour of training mode. :-*
    only Spyshelter FREE will probably give me alert but I will set it to autoblock suspicious activities

    I tried going back to Avira Premium Security Suite and tried Comodo Internet Security. Back to Bluepoint Security 2010 to stay.I didn't realize how much faster my old system is with BPS and it is staying clean so I am sold.

    Can md be used with avira free or it will conflict ?
    and same question for defensewall

    I installed defensewall with avira free and when my pc restarted it showed an error that driver not loaded
    and it seemed too advanced for me so i have uninstalled it also
    can i try malware defender with avira or i have to uninstall avira first ?

    MD shouldn't conflict with any standalone AV, at least none that I'm aware of.
    It's actually probably better to have Avira installed before installing MD.

    DW should only give you problems with MSE (unless that issue has been fixed).
    Was DW installed before Avira? If so, you might have to trust the Avira installer (or disable DW during the installation).

    DefenseWall can be used with Avira without any problem. Do not know about MD.

    DW was installed after avira...i havent changed avira for a long time..just changing complimentary fw's or hips
    will try md now
