    It always had parental control(from v2009) which does not install by default but you have to additionally download the setup if you wish to have a parental control

    Very true. I have a single issue though - Sometimes I get an email alert stating that Norton Online Family safety has been terminated. When I check the same alert in web based portal, I see - an attempt was made to modify Norton Family Safety settings. Unsuccessful. First, these are two conflicting reports. Second, no details as to what process tried/managed kill it. For e.g. if a kid attempts to kill Norton process via task manager - the attempt should be blocked even on admin accounts, and the process name taskmgr.exe should be included in both email and online report.

    Never has any conflict, I see that Norton SONAR monitors the behavior of most programs, since the Mamutu he does, too (So much more efficient) as well as monitoring many other things in the system.

    Sonar never gave me no warning, different from that Mamutu if I change any Windows file or try to change the Hosts he tells me while the Sonar (Aggressive mode) does not warn me of anything!

    For me the NIS with Mamutu are best friends!

    I hope you have taken your question and sorry for my English! :thumb:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Divenow, Norton SafeWeb (Included in NIS 2011) has the same blocklist Norton DNS, recommend changing the Norton DNS to the ClearCloud DNS.
    So have two blocklists! :thumb:
    I'm not addicted to HIPS but I'll be running all these 3 applications at the same time together with my current setup (see sig.) just for the sake of my curiosity. :D
