I'm starting to really trust CIS D+ so I've removed Avast and I've installed Comodo's own AV.

    Real-Time
    CIS Premium v5 (Full)
Immunet Protect Free (Monitor Program Start Off and Blocking Mode On)

    On-Demand
    Hitman Pro (Daily Scan)
MBAM (Weekly, to check some downloads)

    Misc
    ClearCloud DNS
    Secunia PSI
    Comodo Time Machine

it has a sandbox, but its very minimal and far from a full fledged protection mechanism and its not reall a webshield in the sense of an AV's webshield, its simply a blacklist of sites which ALL browsers (as far as i know) have, firefox has this, opera has it, etc.

the chrome sandbox wont stop the browser from downloading rogues at all, it wont stop anything from downloading really... nor will the blacklist protect u all that well since there typically far from perfect in all browsers

    Thanks Bro...

As far as Avast Sandbox is concerned, its still in its infancy stage. So i cannot rely on it. Couple of months ago i have tested it with apporx. one hundred of malwares and to be very honest, all of them was able to bypass it. Even i have created a thread here, regarding this problem... I hope Avast team will soon look into their Sandbox technology ..

Secondly, i do not rely too much on heavy security setups. I am a die hard fan of "AppLocker Policy", Its the only thing on which i can rely 99.9% ... Fundda is very simple, "If it cannot execute, it cannot infect"

Absolutely agree with JL .. SRP would be the best alternative of AppLocker in Windows 7 Pro.. Or you can also wait for "Safe Admin", which is in development. Author & Developer of that tool is no other than our "SULLY" ... He's a gem here ..
