What is your security setup these days?

    Since I don't understand it and things were beginning to act squirrely, removed EMET. I think the new router is giving event id's, so bypassing it and using OpenDNS.
     
  2. I removed AVG 2011 BETA2, slow bootup and shutdowns.

    Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
    Windows Defender
    EMET on Max settings for common Internet Facing Applications

    AVG LinkScanner (no toolbar)

    Google Chrome (stable) - general browsing

    KeyScrambler Personal when using Firefox and Internet Explorer

    2Wire 2700HGV Hardware Firewall

    updated Online Armor free to it latest version = 4.5.0.234
    and keeping the adventurer mode ( no Antivirus xD )

    just decided to keep everything simple.. :doubt: going to setup the systems with sandboxie and oa free.. and keyscrambler o_O

    the start up protection is very handy dandy man for killing nasty rouges:D
    i put it in silent mode to denny system changes:0 it works i tested the security tool and this chihuahua was the winner man

    You keep on shuffling snapshots or you keep on uninstalling and re-installing your security softwares every time?

    from my test rouges and fake antivirus againts winpatrol plus is a winner here for example if the start up protection fails the you can always delete files and stuff and reboot then back on track again this will be very handy in case Mbam missed a rouge winpatrol plus will bark and stop the offending program cold;)
