Prevx is highly thought of at Wilders as an addition to an AV. Just check your Event IDs before and after adding it. Most people must not have a problem, but I did on my computer.

Because if I get Ikarus, it is going to be as an engine in Emsisoft AntiMalware.

Took off WinPatrol, put Mamutu back on.

After have been using Sanboxie for two (2) years,

I replaced it with DefenseWall Personal Firewall :thumb:

I'm trying it, I like it more than Sandboxie,
and I will probably buy a LifeTime License.

Eventhough the processes seems to consume about 20-30mb.. it does feel heavy in some way.. waiting for 2011 upgrade..

Im not used to the UI.. btw disabled Anti-Phising since Prevx offers that protection already..

This is what I had back in 2005:

    ShadowUser
    NOD32
    LNS
    ProcessGuard full
    RegDefend
    Opera

This is what I have now

    ShadowProtect Desktop
    Shadow Defender
    Sandboxie registered

    Avira10 Premium
    Look'n'Stop
    Chrome + Ad Muncher

My biggest change: No more HIPS but a strong backup strategy. If someone asked me what would be the first thing to learn in computer security, I wouldn't hesitate saying to back up and restore successfully your OS. Back in 2005 I thought such an operation was too geeky for me to learn . As a matter of fact, there is more of a learning curve with HIPS than with imaging programs.
