I don't mean executing the malware (well not purposely) I was talking about searching MD5s, Registry Keys, ect. Any of the sites I use to research these have the chance of being hacked so I want to make sure I am protected as I click on these links.

I think it would be a good addition to your setup. It will isolate anything that tries to access your system through an untrusted method (browsers, E-Mail, etc.). I have been using it almost a year now and find it indispensable. read more about it here: http://www.softsphere.com/online-help/defensewall/

Thanks, I guess I will debate upon buying it. I got a special deal I can use so I can get v3 for about 20 bucks so I figure it may be a good deal because last time I used it the app was nice. Plus I had been needing a Firewall

    Outpost Firewall Pro 7
    Avast 5 Free

I 2 hope that this one will last,.
I know Avast will, but Outpost is starting to give me some troubles, not too bad for now but I'm afraid it will get worse.
If however it gets worse, I'll replace it with Comodo Firewall Premium 4.1 :)

    OK
Dropped defensewall and avira like a bad habit.
Back to OA++ and geswall. I also added Panda Cloud instead of MBAM. Of course I don't see that lasting long.

    LOL
I think I found winning combo.
    Avast Internet Security 5

    I'm in love :)

Now, the only thing which would make me drop this suite is BSOD happening, and I don't think it will happen.

Removed SSM 2.4 because it was messing with my dvd drive...
Couldn't find any other BB or HIPS products I liked so I uninstalled avast as well and installed Kaspersky AV with just the file shield and BB.

    Realtime
Kaspersky AV 2010 - File Shield and BB

    On Demand
HostsMan 3.2 - MVPS and hpHosts (ad and tracking servers) lists
Hitman Pro 3.5 - Free, if it detects anything then i'll use other products to diagnose and remove the problem.

    Browser
    Google Chrome 5 - Unchromed

Working great so far, nice and light.
