After noticing how CIS 4 slowed down the PC and reading about how rogues can bypass the Comodo sandbox, I uninstalled CIS 4, reinstalled Panda Cloud AV, and installed Privatefirwall. Privatefirewall is very close to an antiexecutable. If Faronics AntiExecutable were free, I'd used that. The best way to avoid a malware infection is to not let the file run to begin with. I now consider CIS to be bloatware. If Comodo were really serious about fighting malware, they would develop an antiexecutable similar to that of Faronics.

    Less is more

XP Pro with group policy hardening

    LUA with SRP no execute

ACL no execute registry tweak for downloaded executables

ACL taken away add value, create subkey and delete rights of vulnarable user space keys of LUA user, taken away write access to menu program start and tasks

Iron with WOT, new tab behaviour, Adsweep and IE tab

Avast file shield is triggered through registry attachments tweak when doenloaded or mail executable is opened, normally it does not scan executables nor reads/writes

    Hitman Pro on demand

    That's all
