Here is mine ini. Pity, that nLite can not create working bootable ISO, I had to do it manually.

If only time is all that matters, any imaging software will do it in same time without 40 times of installations.

Do you need more? No, you could even drop Adaware.

    At the moment in :

    Real Time:

    SSM
    NOD32
    A2
    Boclean
    KAH
    Wormguard

    On Demand

    Spysweeper V5
    Ewido +
    Winpatrol
    Port Explorer
VmWare (same setup but with KIS 2006 Installed + SuperAntispyware + Lavasoft AA)

This setup feels fast, and secure .. I have no router installed, there is a problem with my isp whenever I connect it to my system .. I need to login (password and ID @ my isp) everytime I reboot so until this doesn't get solved, I won't setup my router cause of the timeloss.

Today, router and XP for firewall, Kas 6 for antivirus and spy sweeper. This is all you really need with maybe Boclean. I want to go or stay with Nod, but the 90 percent of my files that are not scanned, bothers me.

Had a change or two. All these are realtime.

    Kept the same:
    Firewall - Zone Alarm Free
    Antivirus - KAV 6
    Ad Blocking - SuperAdBlocker
    AntiTrojan - Boclean
    Cookie monitoring - Cookiewall
Security Suite - Regrun Platinum(includes UnHackme rootkit detection)

    Added:
    HIPS - Prevx1
    SuperAntispyware module within SuperAdBlocker

    Removed:
HIPS - Online Armor - Currently uninstalled - Was finding slowdown in browsing and retrieving e-mails + general system slowdowns i.e opening files/application's.
Antispyware - SuperAntispyware Pro - Downgraded to On-demand scanning only as the realtime is covered by SuperAdBlocker.

In the last few days i've tried a few apps and some met problems. Some worked fine.

Changed my firewall from Zonealarm to Outpost 2 and could only get in to Windows using safe mode as i couldn't get past the dreaded BSOD. Reverted back to Zonealarm.

Defencewall HIPS - Just simply got fed up with system error messages from net reliant apps that DW wouldn't give rights to, even though i had them 'trusted'.

SandBoxIE - Wasn't happy that SuperAdBlocker couldn't run inside it so i got lots of flying ads, popups and banners etc. which defeated the object cos those things annoy the hell out of me!!!

CyberHawk - Terrible. At least on my system. Horrendous slowdown. Uninstalled very quickly.

Prevx1 - Running very sweet. Lots of protection. I will be wary of FP's, but i have plenty of experience with those(ran PestPatrol for three years. lol). So i will get things looked at before deleting them if i haven't been able to determine their safety myself.

I can leave ZA, KAV6 and Prevx1 running while i play my online game TeamFortress Classic. No slowdown, no hiccups. Nice level of protection while gaming IMO.

After all your trimming down of PC resources what profile did you end up with?

Why Super Ad Blocker over Adblock/Adblock Plus?

im not sure but Super Ad Blocker is nice. it works with both IE and Firefox and it doesnt slow down web browsing. plus it has superantispyware included.

Sorry for the delayed response. Anyways, I only run Online Armor AV+. RegRun 4.5 Gold is permenant. Sometimes I add Prevx1 to the mix just to see how it acts. Also today, I started to use Online Armor AV+ and Firewall, which removed Look'n'Stop from my list. Haven't updated my security list because I am not to certain what I will be using tomorrow  .

Well with the OA Firewall, there are still some minor issues, yet the focus now is to make it pass all leaktests. As for regrun, I am not using version 4.6 because of the cpu issue, I am using version 4.5.

    Latest Setup

Removed Look'n'Stop and Online Armor AV+ and added Online Armor AV+ Firewall. Also removed Hostsman and no longer using a host file. In addition, I also removed Ewido 4 and Spyware Terminator. I only run online anti-malware scans now.

I am no longer going to use a host file becasue Online Armor is enough to cover that in the future. I removed it to get used to the fact I have no host file or else I will get tempted to keep it later :) .

    Internet setup:

    1. Limited Account
    2. NAT router + Windows XP SP2 FW
    3. Avast
    4. Windows Defender (real time)
    5. SpywareBlaster
    6. ID-Blaster Plus
    7. Windows Worms Doors Cleaner
    8. Script Sentry
    9. Spybot
    10. Ad-Aware Personal
    11. Ewido
    12. Hoster
    13. Firefox with several privacy and security extensions
    14. Sandboxie

I was a Proxo user until I found out the loopback hole with Sygate...Oops! So back to Win FW until I find another one.

BTW, Spybot and Ad-Aware together with Trend Micro's online scan (the only one I chose to test) are the only scanners that picked up trojans in my last scan (adware_memwatcher, tspy_dumador (backdoor-cct.dll); tspy_small (trojan.win32.small.ga); tsy_mosucker (backdoor.win32.mosucker.30.b); adware_adclicker (trojan-downloader.win32.agent.bc); adware-inet (trojan-clicker.win32.libie.d); spyware_keyl_astlog (keylogger)), which were delivered while visiting a popular porn site.

    A-Squared and Ewido both failed.

Spy Sweeper didn't pick up anything because I didn't have this program at the time I run the test.

During that time I wasn't running under a limited account but malware got through even though I visited malware land using Sandboxie (duh!).

    I wouldn't dump Spybot and Ad-Aware YET!
