    :cool: Not yet,I just install the antivirus&antispyware and web traffic scan components of F-secure,compatible with avira very well.

    :thumbd: FSCS is very good but makes my computer sometimes sluggish.so I uninstall it after using about a couple of weeks.

    Now I'm using Comodo fw&Avira av&Geswall free.they work well with each other.:thumb:All Free!!!

    Routine that seems to be working to perfection so far for all my systems:

    ThreatFire (beta) = Yes, the beta is accurately working the Custom Rules for me, the release version gave my systems issues.

    ESET 4 = A-OK

    EQSecure 4.0 w/Alcyon Rules = Unbeatable Combination, highly configurable, no pukes, issues, or problems of any sort. A tried and true keeper here!

    SandboxIE = No Brainer here

    Tiny Watcher = Plain jane file change reviewer every boot. Nice & simple.

    Kerio 2.15 Unmovable firewall protection, especially teamed together with EQS + ThreatFire (Beta)

    jmonge - Is the firewall in DW v3 something that you can either not install or turn off. I am using DW v2.56 and have a lifetime license for Outpost.

    Well it has some interesting extra's. Fair chance it will score better than Outpost on matousec tests. Also internally overhauled, starts browser real quick, has very little disk I/O (with all those dual and quatro core CPU's, disk I/O is the largest bottle neck, disk I/O puts most strain on your system).

    I would tell your more, when I had not signed a non disclosure agreement.

    All I can say it was very stable as a pre-beta, no glinch for some time from the closed beta testers. So Ilya could procede, but he is taking his time. His (and DW's) reputaion is everything to him (makes sence when you are a one man band company).

    As a former developer myself, I find it unbelievable how Ilya, Tzuk and Xioalin can produce such quality products (and keep up with the competition/stay ahead), while some of the competitors have large development teams. I know a relatively small dedicated development team can beat a larger team (within bounderies). I once lead a team, of eXtreme Programming freaks (6 guys), they were able to be more productive as a traditional team three times the size of our team. Until the competion outsourced it to India an put more than 30 developers on it, with four six sigma black belts (two companies planned a merger and it was uncertain which system the new company would use, so we fought a beauty contest for nearly two years).

    Regards Kees

    99.8 is all you need. You do not need to give up ownership of your PC. You stand a better chance of getting shark bitten then catching a undetected piece of malware with G-Data.

    Hey SSJ, Just wanted to point out a little something about Prevx
    "Threats missed by other security vendors" I do not think that they are lying how ever - This display does not take into account the amount of users that use those programs, For example I've been aware of CA having quite honestly... poor detection however on there it shows it doesn't miss many samples - That's because not many people know it, more using it the more would be missed ;) Explains why all the popular apps are so high.

    EDIT:: Here's a quote from the prevx page which better explains it;

    Back on-topic ->
    CIS (Av disabled)
    Sandboxie.
    Spare PC if even I feel like I need to.
