I have been using Dr.Web and XP firewall for a very long time without any problems. Yesterday decided to install some firewall and it seems that the Outpost is a good choice for me.
It's light, trouble free and doesn't annoy me in any way despite the HIPS-features.
So Dr.Web AV + Outpost 2009 free it is, until I find a reason to uninstall it.
you have stuck with them for a long time. I would actually like to go back if their ever get 64 bit worked out.
A2 free as scanner of C:\ root, Windows and Program Files, Hitman Pro applies a very smart set of heuristics, intrusion analyses and then runs it through the cload of which A2 is also part.
Bold statement: Hitman Pro is better than any smart scan of any AV only appplication which applies simular techniques is PrevX CSI, advantage of Hitman Pro it also offers a free 30 trial to remove malware, while PrevX requires to pay before cure.

I put the 64 bit up in mothballs and did a restore last night on my desktop 32 bit. I wanted it completely clean. At least now I can make some snapshots with it and go back to trying some of this new software.
Made a radical change on all 3 computers, and even though I am not the most liked person by Dr Web, , I bought a 3 user license and see why I missed it so much. Wow!! on a 3 user license to. A tad bit high. But the Web is back and I still think it is one of the best.
Oh, if this is someones avatar here let me know and I will find another.
@trjam. You are always change your security app.
The quest is not about changing security tools.. but more which ones never/ever did make it in his AVATAR
thing is he says ALL of the AV's are one of the best as soon as he uses it, then changes his mind, then rinse and repeat.
this is the end of the world
trojan try blue point i promise you wont be disapointed man
note:sorry i missed spell your nick name lol
I reinstalled DefenseWall and it seems to work fine now.
I'll see if the reinstallation of Sandboxie will fix the issues I have with it.
