    Hi I'm james,

Can you you help us to find a way to back-up our linux server running SLES 9..two hardisk (Raid 0). With an application of DNS, E-mail and Web.
I read a little about the Acronis True Image Echo Server for Linux. But I don't have any idea how it works!...
We want to implement this solution. Granting for your full support.

    Thanks!..

    Welcome to Wilders, James.
You need to post your question in the Acronis forums. You're off topic for this thread and Acronis support and users may not even see your question here.

    Good luck!

EricAlbert fell out of favor of this app but i find it now has additional security measures and new features, plus is stable on my machine after running it thru the mill.

Uninstalled Twister AV, OA Firewall, and AVG Free.
Tried installing DriveSentry, but it says it's incompatible with Sandboxie :thumbd: .

    Now using:

    avast! 4.8
    ZA Firewall
    MAMUTU (testing)
    MBAM
    Returnil
    Rollback RX (testing)
    Sandboxie
    SpywareBlaster

    Back to some old favourites

    - Defensewall (since 2.52 again the low CPU usage of pre 2.46 versions and low disk I/O, only 'tickle' I/O of 2000Bytes now and then whick leads to increasing total, but without impact on performance/system response)
    - ThreatFire free with my custom registry protection https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=235984
    - Avira V9 free check to write only on all files with heuristics set to high
    - Comodo memory firewall free

And external harddisk with image/data backup

DriveSentry says that, but trust me, ive used DS with Sandboxie installed and there is actually no conflict, u shuld give it a try. and i think your testing with Mamutu and Rollback Rx will be a good one, i use both and i love them. :D i wouldnt go a day without my trusty rollback rx.

You're running some solid programs there. If you didn't have Mamutu and Rollback Rx, I'd say go for it. Don't think you need Norton UAC.

Rollback RX eliminates the need for me to do regular back-up images :thumb:
It takes better snapshots than System Restore, restoring virtually 100% of the files. And it's a sleek and fast program :D

MAMUTU is alright. But avast! takes care of most of the realtime threats. I just get startled with the occasional warning pop-up of the Network Shield :D
Great pseudo-firewall, blocks malicious URLs on-the-fly :thumb:

Uninstalled Auslogics BoostSpeed and replaced with Advanced SystemCare.

Good point about how long a set up has been used.

My "protection" has remained pretty much as shown in my sig for just over 2 years. Shadow Defender only gets used if surfing off piste. NO infections in 13 years

I really like your setup. Very simple and effective. Will there be a problem if I use ATI2009 instead of ShadowProtect? o_O

I never had any problems with Acronis going back to version 6. Just changed to
shadow Protect because I got bored with Acronis always working and because for me it is faster on larger images.
