Wow...SpyShelter still alives :) My setup on 3 machines (XP, Win7, Win 8.1) from years is based on SS Firewall but on XP is installed Premium + Kerio Firewall 2.1.5. Second core component is Shadow Defender (on 3 those machines). System backup - Keriver 1-Click on XP, Macrium Reflect on W7 and AOMEI Backupper on W8.1.

Just be aware that Chomar is not as good as big name antiviruses.

Nothing wrong with that. If you have Adguard and Hitman Pro I would not be worried about that setup.

Now testing latest unmanaged version of Symantec Endpoint Protection. It's more or less "greyware" because it's missing a lot of features that managed version does for sure.
as SEP is for corporate environments and their Norton software(s) are for home users, just wondering, do both of them get the signatures at the same time? Or does SEP get the latest ones faster than the home users of Norton products?
Do they pull out IDS, Bloodhound, Sonar, AV sigs at the same time or does SEP users get them before home users?

IceDrive is great. I'm currently giving it a try. BTW, where should I store my data? In the folder "MyIcedrive" or in the folder "Encrypted"? IF I should move my data to the folder "Encrypted" is it still possible to sync local with encrypted cloud data? Hm...

I don't use sync so IDK. I store only important data in Encrypted folder and everything else in regular folders.

Thanks for your reply, @Minimalist. Maybe I will submit a support ticket to Icedrive to find out more about the difference between the two folders.

I signed the dotted line with Mega cloud storage a week ago for their 20 gig freebie. Apparently there is no encrypted "vault" and other folders to choose between. Everything that is synced/uploaded to their cloud service is end-to-end encrypted from the get-go.
If prices stay where they currently are with IceDrive, I may eventually pull the trigger and swing a life-time license with them or pCloud (fair to say with a less favorable price structure).
Both IceDrive and pCloud do not offer a free storage plan with encryption. So, for now Mega definitely suffices.

    Salutations/Greetings,

Be-careful especially with IceDrive they look at your content that you upload.
Not sure why, but if they do not like your content of what you upload, IceDrive
will delete your upload and/or your account. Again IceDrive, look at your content.

Always, encrypt before you upload. To keep prying eyes off your stuff. Or
    your personal belongings.
