    I was very tempted to buy malwarebytes but I will wait for christmas or boxing day promotion;)

    What do you think to run malwarebytes pro and hitmanpro alert?

    i think mb would be redundant. hmpa & msd is just fine. you can keep it as a second-opinion scanner though.

    it's subpar now. i don't think you need it. you have a pretty solid setup.

    Like before it felt very good at blocking malware but lately the kids tell me its hitman pro alert blocking them

    haven't used it for a long time. you wouldn't have any conflicts/issues but i wouldn't rely on its protection. better to use it as a backup scanner. but it's your call.

    Mbam I think is rock solid but it is always good idea a double layer :)

    still i don't think it's worth the money. if it were me, i'd use the free version as a backup scanner.
