Any reason to do that? Looks like first full security solution from Malwarebytes.

  7. New new year's setup for 2017 :D

    Proactive protection:
Desktop (Windows 10 Pro), Asus Transformer (Windows 8.1 Home), Wife's laptop (Windows 7 Ultimate)
    1. WFW set 2-way and and all riskware (remote, shared, legacy) disabled
    2. Deny execute in all user folders with ACL (except Temp) and SRP (except Admin)
    3. White-list execution with Avast (aggressive) and UAC (allow signed program elevation only)
    4. Chromium (Henrypp's) is sandboxed with AppContainer (Desktop/Asus) or MemProtect/Low-IL (Laptop)

    Post execution damage control:
    1. MBRfilter free (protects against ransomware attacking MBR)
    2. AppCheck anti-ransomware free (no MBR protection)

    Disaster recovery:
    1. NAS (backup with write access running under different user, so ransomware can't touch NAS)
    2. USB disk (monthly off line copy of backup stored on different location)

I'm back to using Windows Defender w/ the PUP tweak, plus VoodooShield as additional RT protection (on auto mode) and Zemana AM for on-demand scans now and again. I'm finding this really quite light.

It isn't the exact function, but VoodooShield can replace Appguard pretty easily (and free).

Thanks for your opinion :) We are focused on searching and testing new apps but there are still "diamonds" from the past which are worth of reminding and using.

What would be a better combination, SpywareShelter Firewall with Windows Defender or SpywareShelter Firewall with Zemana Antimalware?
