It's rare but sometimes I just browse without it because it's a tad faster when it's not sandboxed

Replaced VRAS with MBAE after concerns of obscurity and lack of updates. Updated EMET to 5.1, which removes Chrome protection. I'll respect that, and rely on MBAE + HMP.A instead.

Maybe I am missing the context here, but why do you say that updating EMET to 5.1 remove protection from Chrome? They just enhanced it slightly by enabling EAF+ mitigation for Chrome with this release.

Oh, forgot to import popular software XML. I just used recommended settings. Now let's see if Chrome breaks... *Nope.

I see what you mean but when I ever do it I end up feeling like a Hermit crab out of it`s shell and I`m not long scuttling back under it.

    Regards Eck:)

Even here, I am sandboxed. If I was to go to the Vatican's or Mother Theresa's site, I ll still do it under Sandboxie. I don't do any browsing without Sandboxie.

Most things that I do in the computer I do it using Sandboxie. If I create a Word or Excel file, I do it sandboxed. Its my file but still, I am used to doing it like that. All done automatically:)

Removed CCE and EEK. First one gave me yet another FP and still hasn't been updated, while the second takes forever updating. Never really needed them anyhow.

    Hi Kees.

    Why EMET + MBAE?
    Do not fear a conflict?

I guess MBAE free for browser and EMET for the rest, which MBAE free does not cover.

    Hi FleischmannTV.
Is possible with the Experimental Version.

  16. Exactly, have added jscript.dll and vbscript.dll to ASR of all office programs.

Actually, that's a pretty smart idea to use MBAE Free to protect browsers only and EMET to protect Office apps and others. Should be no conflicts that way since the two programs are protecting completely different programs. Brilliant.

I only go online unsandboxed to update firefox and stuff like that even then I dont hang around.......it`s a jungle out there.

Even if it feels a bit sometimes like putting on a stab vest to go and see Granny, then again trust no program.

    Regards Eck:)

....or site. Thats exactly what I do with Sandboxie and NoScript, Eck.
If Sandboxie feels heavy in any way, then its probable that your real time scanner is scanning the activity that goes on inside the sandbox, that might slow down things a little or your web guard has a minor conflict with SBIE.

Me, I got nothing but Sandboxie and NoScript. So, using or not using Sandboxie, feels exactly the same. I cant tell the difference.:)

    Greetings, Eck:cool:

EDIT: it slowed down my internet browsing, so I removed it...

Yes, without real-time AV page loading is really fast. It's hard to go back, when you get used to it :)
