  6. I see only Opt_In at ASLR, any links/info on how to force ASLR or are you refering to "mandatory ASLR" in the "Application Configuration" section ?

Good Morning! I value speed and responsiveness in an A/V product...and believe it or not...now that I'm retired...I'm the reverse of Noob...Lol! but still factor fun as my main philosophy...I have the luxury of time to experiment...and am getting very close too SweX...in establishing a permanent solution. I like a lot of us is waiting to see if The Cloud will lead to improved detection rates...that I believe is still within a year or two. And also Whitelisting is also something I'm considering. So as you can appreciate it's not merely a constant add subtract regime...with so many new technologies coming on stream...I believe that as a serious user...never be satisfied with alternatives. Anyhow...too paraphrase Bob Dylan...I'll just sit contentedly and watch the river flow. Yours in fun...and evolution...Sincerely...Securon

OK, I followed your advice and switched from ESET to Malware Defender. I don't install much software (except security related) so configuring and maintaining all the rules is not a problem for me.

That's it, that's my FINAL SETUP.

Great, it's fun to test out software no doubt, but personally on my main computer I think it's good to settle down with a nice setup I like and enjoy to use.

No I don't install lots of software these days either.

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\EMET --> EnableUnsafeSettings --> Change the value to 1 (it's 0 by default). You'll get additional two options for system wide ASLR, "Opt Out" and "Always On". It will force programs to use ASLR even if they don't support it, but it may crash the OS. I'm lucky that I got no BSOD with system wide ASLR always on.
