What is your security setup these days?

I just scanned every exe and dll file installed by YAC with VirusTotal. Every file was found to safe, except for the file libpng.dll which was detected as adware by VBA32. I'm sure that detection is a false positive.

Next I scanned YAC's installer with VirusTotal, and it was detected by both NOD32 and Tend's HouseCall. HouseCall identified it as TROJ_GEN.F47V0829. I never pay much attention to generic trojan identifications. I also think that both detections are false positives.

It appears to be a false positive.

The only way to find out for sure is to submit the program to ESET for reclassification. ESET never add PUP/PUA detection unless it fulfills criteria of potentially unwanted applications.

You got the name in the quotation wrong.;) Of course I'm repeating. I haven't changed my setup. The question asks what I'm using these days. Gotta answer that you know.:D

It does still work and I was given my key, but I've just installed Rising Antivirus, so won't try it out just yet.

I removed Kaspersky and reinstalled Sandboxie 3.76 and Nod 32 7 BETA. I also enabled SRP for non-administrator (Guest) user account. I really like this duo. For me, they are a perfect combination.

It's been a while since I posted but I did a clean install the other day and I slightly altered my setup. I'rm using EMET 4.0 on maximum settings. Sandboxie with everything on default except I'm blocking access to my media drive and emptying the sandbox on program close. HMP for daily scans. And finally, No Script for FF. I'm taking a different approach to my setup this time. Before, I took the stance that a locked down Sandboxie would basically be impenetrable but I've done some reading and now, I'm not so sure about that. Most attacks are going to be through firefox and with NS and EMET, that should cover a vast majority of attacks. Sandboxie is now used mainly as a privacy, and cleanliness tool. I'm probably going to look into some Host/IP blocking next.
