    Hi LoneWolf.
Why do you use DefenseWall and Malware Defender together for realtime protection?

    Thanks :)

    Hi Tony,
Well, I'm still trialing Malware Defender at the moment (will most likely buy when outbound network control is added) but it has some very useful options and tools/information that DefenseWall lacks. (screenshot)

Don't get me wrong, DefenseWall is very strong in it's protection and I like the way it works. (trusted/untrusted)
But with Malware Defender I now have execution control as well as more control over what apps are alowed to do what.(screenshot)

Running without any problems/conflicts together here.

DW is now at version 2.45.

If you have not a particular conter-indication reason (or upgrade plan expired), you should probably be better to go with the most up to date DW's build, as Ilya constantly keeps on improving his gem, sometimes even without immediatly changing its numbering... I have now quite a collection of past DW's releases :)

for sure you are safer than most of us,cause malware makers are targeting xp and vista now:D ,but it must be hard to find software compatible with the windows 95

Yeah, even the cool web search is giving me error messages. Should I feel rejected? A very old OS can be a very good measure of safety. Being a sentimenalist, I've got my own favorite library of fun and games, and it's really very easy to find AV apps fir Win 95 16 bit, but there are very many committed to seeng that DOS, Win 2.x, Win, 3.x, 9x/ME/CE, NT, and 2000 remain on the web, and remain thus safely with many new software apps. Look on Google for "95 is still alive".
