    Back to my old standby:

    CIS 6.x (latest)
    MBAM Pro
Comodo Dragon & Chrome (various security extensions)
    Sandboxie (for sensitive browsing)

    Fits like a glove... :D

Well i bid a sad farewell to sandboxie seeing as im using CIS as i dont see any purpose in having 2 sandboxing programs installed.

It was a clear cut choice for me,either keep comodo and its virtual browser or keep sandboxie and sandboxie has departed this computer.o_O

Excellent then I'll take a look at GMER and CureIt, thank you all for taking time to offer some advice. Still a novice here.

I've considered that as well. So far I'm just not confident enough in Comodo's virtualization. As it matures and I hear enough positive things about it, I hope to be able to do the same thing.

Ever since I switched from #1 to #2, my memory percentage went down 3%, not a huge difference, but something.

    I'm really digging this setup.

So check this out. I am now running CIS 6.2 everything enabled with the new
Chinese AV- 360 Internet Security 2013 with JUST the real time 360 Cloud Engine running. Using the other 2 engines when doing on demand scans. (QVM II Engine and Bitdefender AV Engine)

    This ought to be interesting...

I'll report back over the next couple days.

Sounds like that setup might just form you an iron wall.

After teaming up Outpost Pro FW 8.1 with Qihoo 360 Security, I'm in the forget it mode now. It's triple super duty detectors with it's Proactive Defense throwed in for good measure is running flawlessly and lite as i ever seen with such a combo.

Best of luck at Turning On All The Engines!

Dang nice Easter! Unfortunately I already hit a conflict so I've uninstalled 360 for the time being. Somewhere along the line it was just too much for poor old CIS lol. Reinstalling CIS for now. Losing Dragon though, I seriously cannot stand Chrome in any form. Back to the sleek, gorgeous, predictable and easy to use IE10.

I do like 360 though and will probably keep it and try it some other time.

Why not get similar setup like Easter? Qihoo 360 Security with Comodo FW/d+? Comodo AV is not strong anyways.

It's really funny to see how people still don't foresee how comments like this lead to endless nonsense from Comodo fanboys... wait and see...

    EDIT: Ooops, it already began...

Comodos av is stronger but not really "strong" in the sense of avast, avira, bi tdefender strong. But it is improving so i wont knock them to bad on it..but anyways, im still happy with my sig. Liking the look of qihoo more and more but when i tried it before it felt...light, as in it felt unproven.

Really? But it was so weak the last time I had tried it. That was middle of last year. If it's greatly improved then I gonna try it. If not I'm gonna wait.

Not to worry. I'm a Comodo fanboy myself. But only of the FW/d+.

And that what matters. If it's stronger than MSE, or Immunet then there's no mean of using it.

No CAV isn't better than it was in the middle of last year. Though the only thing I don't like in CAV it cannot desinfect files. It just deletes them. Others AVs can desinfect files if it is possible.

I agree with you Amit, the best part of Comodo are both FW and D+. The AV is still a no-no for me. It's heavy and it's detection capabilities are good, but not on par with the best of the bunch (Avast, Bitdefender, Emsisoft...)

True, but that only applies when performing tests with thousands of samples.
Ask yourself how many malware you are going to pick up during normal, everyday PC activities.
    Brain.exe is there for you...;)

Therefore, CIS alone is more than enough....
BTW, you can turn AV off and still get cloud detections.
