Apparently you would be better off just going with BitDefender. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2418329,00.asp

Yeah that's just one test. I'm sure I could pull up a test that shows bitdefender not doing well. I've used EAM before and it's always tested highly detecting malware.
My point was that it was a broad statement for zitch to be making.

Thank you, it is a nice plan to try on my office XP.

I find it's useful to uncheck it on my PC with Win-7

I can't play with my office XP for now. Is it useful for Win-7? It doesn't allow delete Admin and Guest acct.

    Thinking about running this:

Webroot Secure Anywhere Internet Security Plus
Windows Defender On & Windows Firewall
    NoVirusThanks EXE Radar Pro
    Sandboxie

    Instead of this...

    avast! Free Antivirus
Webroot Secure Anywhere Internet Security Plus
    NoVirusThanks EXE Radar Pro

    But, currently testing this:

    Windows 8 Pro
    Windows Defender enabled
    Windows Firewall enabled

    with this on startup...

    NoVirusThanks EXE Radar Pro
    Sandboxie

Most free AVs nowadays have some sort of anti-spyware protection. Avira, Avast, Panda Cloud, and (I hate to admit it) AVG have it. Win 8 Defender also has it too.

For OD scanners, there are MBAM, HitmanPro, and Emsisoft Emergency Kit. :thumb:

Why do you hate to admit it? It's a good thing.

It's because, it flags nearly every forums which I usually visit. Well okay, they're only 3, but 2 of them are flagged. And their hardware requirements are just plain silly. They deserve it. ;)

it looks very simple to configure, but i wonder if the parental controls is included in the security suite?
also the firewall is a booster only,it boost windows firewall and that's why is not slowing my system at all :)
it also has webadvertisement blocking feature

I've settled on Avast, Privatefirewall, Sandboxie, AppGuard, EMET and Ad Muncher with Hitman Pro and Shadow Defender on demand. This set up works for me nicely though I'm considering dropping avast for something lighter if possible.
