If you mean rich media ads such as AdSense, then yes.

It depends on what categories you have checked off. Sometimes I get FP but you can add them to the exception list.

I know. It was set only to block malware/phishing pages.
Sometimes it took them days to correct FPs I've reported.

Admuncher is solely built to block ads and trackers unlike OFP. I don't use any addons on any of my browsers except lastpass and believe the when i say the browser is light as feather.
Although the adblock in OFP is great,I used it for many years,it does not block flash ads.
But kudos to agnitum to have that module in a firewall, I think its the only firewall in the market with such a feature.
Kaspersky is the only other suite than has one,but they don't have a stand alone firewall.

Arsenaloyal inspired me to find my license key and re-install Ad Muncher. I forget why but a year ago it wasn't working right on my computer, now it seems okay. Removed AdBlock Plus for Chrome, and browsing seems to be a little faster now.

Removed Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete and put back Mamutu and turned on Malwarebytes Anti-malware's real-time protection. Old favorites to go with Sandboxie.

i love Avira so much its tough to let go, so i may install Avira Free without realtime guard, it may be overkill but its sentimental to me.

No Webroot Secure Anywhere for me, because frankly it does nothing,
in my subjective view, it might be minuscule and ultra fast but that's no excuse for poor detection, (for me anyway) its not worth the price.
Especially when BDAV is available for 1/10th of Webroot's Price in India.

:thumb: Gizmo's is a great site, I've learned a lot there. I think they are right about Macrium Reflect, it's reliable and easy to use.

Keeping an up-to-date image in a safe place makes it simpler to recover from malware, corrupted files, or a hard drive failure. A re-install only takes a few minutes.

I think so especially since I've run Win 7 without any antivirus. I don't see the malware activity others seem to find. :D
